Position Summary
Use hand-welding, magnetic drill, handheld grinder, flame-cutting, plasma torch to weld or join metal components or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
•Follow company safety rules in accordance with OSHA regulations such as: Wearing PPE, safety shoes, safety glasses, PAPR welding helmets with filter blower motors, face shield, ear plugs, gloves and other required PPE to prevent burns and eye injuries.
•Plan work from drawings or specifications or use their knowledge of fluxes and base metals to analyze the parts to be joined.
•Select and set up welding equipment, execute the planned welds, and examine welds to ensure that they meet standards or specifications.
•Examine weld during the welding process; observe problems with the weld and adjust the speed, voltage, amperage, or feed of the wire or rod.
•In automated welding, follow specified layouts, work orders, or blueprints; load parts correctly and constantly monitor the machine to ensure that it produces the desired bond.
•Operate and monitor cutting machines similar to those used by welding machine operators.
•Work indoors, sometimes in a confined area designed to contain sparks and glare.
•Lift heavy objects and work in a variety of awkward positions, while bending, stooping, or standing to
perform work overhead.
•Operate cranes, forklifts and electric lifts.
•Perform daily and periodical maintenance on equipment used in department.
•Act professionally as a team player at all times.
•Cross train as directed and be willing to work at any production or shipping position in the plant.

•Responsible for keeping weld cell organized and clean with a strong emphasis on 5-S.
•Perform quality inspections to ensure part accuracy per the blueprints.

•Must currently be certified or be able to attain the appropriate weld certification within 15 days of employment.
•Provide accurate time allocations by job number on all work completed.

Experience: 6 plus months of experience

Other Requirements: Must be able to read and interpret shop plans and specifications. Must be able to use a square and read the tape measure to within 1/16th inch tolerance. Must be able to lift and transport up to 70 pounds on occasion and be able to learn to operate forklifts.



Position Summary
Drafting and Detailing of erection drawings, shop fabrication prints, bill of material listings utilizing construction knowledge.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
•Utilize AutoCAD, Inventor and Excel in the drafting and detailing of new product lines.
•Ability to stay focused on projects until completion.
•Prepare part drawings for manufacturing and assembly drawings and product manuals for field assembly as directed by the product engineer.

Design Engineer

Position Summary
Apply theory and principles of civil engineering in planning, designing, and overseeing fabrication of structures under the direction of engineering staff.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
• Draft detailed dimensional drawings and design layouts for projects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Calculate dimensions, square footage, profile and component specifications, and material quantities using calculator or computer.
• Read and review project blueprints and structural specifications to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements.
• Confer with supervisor to determine project details such as plan preparation, acceptance testing, and evaluation of field conditions.
• Inspect project site and evaluate contractor work to detect design malfunctions and ensure conformance to design specifications and applicable codes.
• Develop plans and estimate costs for the construction of structures.
• Prepare reports and document project activities and data.
• Respond to manufacturing plant and public suggestions and complaints.
• Evaluate facility to determine suitability for occupancy and square footage availability.
• Conduct materials test and analysis on prototypes using tools and equipment and applying engineering knowledge.

Terrritory Manager

Position Summary
Responsible for new dealer recruitment and development as well as providing support and maintenance for existing dealer network within specific geographic area (North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wyoming) as defined by General Manager and Sales & Marketing Manager.

Essential Functions Statement(s)
•Communicate Dealer and Area Representatives’ needs and assist in the preparation and distribution of promotional materials to meet their requirements.
•Prospect, identify and secure quality dealer partners in geographic areas identified by General Manager and Sales Marketing Manager, and assist those  prospective dealers in the preparation of all paperwork and requirements necessary for them to become authorized Sentinel dealers.
•Provide comprehensive and ongoing training to all new and existing assigned dealers on proper company policies/procedures, co-op and dealer rewards programs as well as the proper use of company quote forms and on-line quote program.
•Personally visit all assigned dealers a minimum of once annually to provide assistance, training and sales support expertise.
•Communicate with Dealers and Area Representatives on company information and changes in process/procedures, and addressing any specific product and/or service needs monthly.
•Follow-up with Dealers and Area Representatives, answer questions and insure they have materials, training and information necessary to be successful.
•Assist in the planning and execution of the new dealer orientation sessions to be held as needed.
•Periodically assist Dealers and Area Representatives with their selling, either in person or via phone as needs dictate.
•Coordinate with Sales Consultants to secure Dealer orders.
•Prepare and submit timely reports as requested by the Sales Manager. i.e. submit expense reports on weekly basis.
•Weekly call reports shall be submitted on our call sheet to the Sales Manager no later than Tuesday of the following week.
•Participation in TM product training at Sentinel when meetings are scheduled.
•Submit weekly travel plan no later than Friday for the following week.
•Work open houses and shows as directed in your territory.
•In order to be paid commission for prospect building leads outside the existing Dealer network, the TM must provide the building consultant with the lead as well as the dealer for tracking purposes.

Roll-Former Specialist

Position Summary
Loading and unloading coil, manually adjusting machine settings, inputting parts into the computer, stacking parts, banding parts, and ensuring all parts are labeled correctly. Including performing all quality checks and ensuring the highest quality in produced items. Operators will be required to record and maintain detailed material usage records conforming to IAS standards.
