ROLL FORMER OPERATOR

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Loading and unloading coil
  • Adjusting machine settings (manual)
  • Inputting part information
  • Stacking, banding, and ensuring all parts are marked correctly
  • Performing all quality checks and ensuring the highest quality in produced items

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Reading tape measurements
  • Converting fractions to decimals
  • Performing basic mathematical calculations and use a calculator
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Stand for long periods of time and life 70 pounds
  • Willing to train and work a 4 day standard work week

 

 

PLASMA OPERATOR

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Programming, maintaining, and operating the CNC Plasma cutting machine
  • Operating software to nest parts for programming equipment, and other various equipment in the fabrication department and other areas as needed

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Reliable, flexible, self-motivated, and safe-minded
  • High attention to detail
  • Quick learner (read and interpret shop plans and specifications)
  • Lift and transport up to 70 pounds
  • Operate a forklift and overhead crane

 

 

SUB ARC WELDER TECHNICIAN

 RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Operating the beam machine, bridge crane, and forklift (loading/unloading, layout, tacking and operating submerged arc welding machine)
  • Welding various materials (certification required)
  • Interpreting shop plans and make welds according to plans

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Experience operating forklifts and reading prints from a manufacturing work place
  • Maintain AWS welding certification
  • Willing to be trained in a variety of equipment and certifications
  • Basic math skills (read tape measurements)
  • Quick learner
  • Able to lift up to 70 pounds

 

 

DRAFTER/BUILDING DETAILER 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Detailing of erection drawings, shop fabrication prints, and bills of material listings
  • Utilizing building and construction knowledge

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Organized
  • Strong computer skills (knowledge of MS Excel and Inventor software system)
  • Proficient with AutoCAD
  • Experience in steel design or metal fabrication

 

DESIGN ENGINEER

The Design Engineer position will be responsible for the development of new designs, making improvements on existing products and leads the development of individual products and product lines including, metal buildings.  The Design Engineer is expected to understand and meet customer needs, comply with the industry’s design standards, keep a focus on superior quality and develop cost-effective solutions for the company.  The Design Engineer interacts regularly with engineering, sales, purchasing and manufacturing departments.

Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural background and emphasis in metal building design. Must be able to read and interpret building plans, specifications, codes and industry standards for metal buildings. Knowledge of the current AISC specification is preferred. Experience using Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D parametric design software is required. Comprehensive benefits and compensation package.
