RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Loading and unloading coil
  • Adjusting machine settings (manual)
  • Inputting part information
  • Stacking, banding, and ensuring all parts are marked correctly
  • Performing all quality checks and ensuring the highest quality in produced items

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Reading tape measurements
  • Converting fractions to decimals
  • Performing basic mathematical calculations and use a calculator
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
  • Stand for long periods of time and lift 70 pounds

RESPONSIBILITIES

SUB ARC WELDING TECHNICIAN – 1st SHIFT

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operating the beam machine, bridge crane, and forklift (loading/unloading, layout, tacking and operating submerged arc welding machine)
  • Welding various materials (certification required)
  • Interpreting shop plans and make welds according to plans

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Experience operating forklifts and reading prints from a manufacturing work place
  • Maintain AWS welding certification
  • Willing to be trained in a variety of equipment and certifications
  • Basic math skills (read tape measurements)
  • Quick learner
  • Able to lift up to 70 pounds

 

DESIGN ENGINEER

The Design Engineer position will be responsible for the development of new designs, making improvements on existing products and leads the development of individual products and product lines including, metal buildings.  The Design Engineer is expected to understand and meet customer needs, comply with the industry’s design standards, keep a focus on superior quality and develop cost-effective solutions for the company. The Design Engineer interacts regularly with engineering, sales, purchasing and manufacturing departments.   Qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with a structural background and emphasis in metal building design. Must be able to read and interpret building plans, specifications, codes and industry standards for metal buildings. Knowledge of the current AISC specification is preferred. Experience using Autodesk Inventor or similar 3D parametric design software is required.
